noRoam – Terms & Conditions (UK)
Last updated: 8 April 2026
Thanks for choosing noRoam ("noRoam", "we", "us"). We provide global, data-only eSIM services. By downloading our app, creating an account or using our services (the "Services"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services. You must be at least 16 to use the Services.
We may change these Terms from time to time. If we make a significant change, we'll let you know in advance (e.g., in-app or by email). If you keep using the Services after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
Our Services are primarily for personal use. Business partnerships are available separately.
noRoam gives you mobile data via licensed partner networks. We do not provide traditional voice or SMS and our eSIMs do not support emergency calling (e.g., 999/112). Always keep another way to contact emergency services.
All key details (countries/regions, validity, speeds and price) are shown before you buy and form part of your contract.
Your noRoam eSIM stays valid on the same device unless you delete it. If you delete it or move to another device you'll need a new eSIM profile.
You need an unlocked, eSIM-capable device. Please check your device settings before purchase. Some regions/models don't support eSIM.
Service depends on local networks and conditions. Speeds and availability may vary by location, device, congestion or maintenance. Our service does not work on cruise ships or aircraft outside terrestrial coverage.
You need a verified account to install an eSIM. Keep your login secure and your details accurate. You're responsible for activity in your account. It's user responsibility for keeping credentials secure and not sharing accounts.
We may block or close duplicate or fraudulent accounts (for example to prevent promo abuse or unauthorized eSIM transfers).
You can request account deletion; this permanently removes your data and active eSIMs (see Privacy Policy for details). Unused balances/data packs are lost on deletion.
The price you see at checkout is the final cost - no hidden fees. We accept major cards, selected digital wallets (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay) and other regional options. Availability may vary by country. Payments are processed by trusted providers; we don't store your full card details.
We don't keep your card on file for automatic renewals. Paid packs are one-off purchases for the validity period you choose. If we ever introduce optional subscriptions in future, we'll make that clear and you'll be able to opt in or out.
If you apply a valid promo code or voucher, the discount/credit appears before you pay.
For digital services bought online you usually have a 14-day right to cancel. This right may end once service starts with your express request/consent. If you have not activated or used a paid pack, you can cancel within 14 days for a full refund. If you started using it, we may make a proportionate deduction to reflect use.
We consider refunds where (i) the eSIM cannot be installed or activated due to technical issues, or (ii) the service wasn't delivered as promised. Eligibility may depend on activation/usage status and successful troubleshooting. Accidental purchases and expired/fully-used plans are generally not refundable.
Approved refunds are usually processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider. Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase.
eSIM profiles, balances and plans are tied to the original account and device; they can't be transferred.
Some paid plans include a high-speed allowance. After you use it, speeds may be reduced for the rest of the plan. We may also apply reasonable traffic management to protect network quality for everyone.
Don't use the Services for unlawful, harmful or abusive activity (e.g., malware, harassment, spam, IP infringement). The following are strictly prohibited:
Abuse may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.
We aim to provide a reliable service but can't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free connectivity. Service may be affected by maintenance, outages, partner issues, government restrictions or other events beyond our control. We may change, suspend or discontinue features or plans; if we discontinue a paid plan you're actively using, we'll provide notice and a suitable credit/refund for any unused paid period.
You may not use our Services in countries where local law, export control, or sanctions prohibit it.
Your personal data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. In short: we collect only what we need to provide and improve the Service, we use trusted providers for payments, analytics, support and we don't sell your personal data.
You retain ownership of any content you provide, but grant noRoam a licence to use it to provide the Services.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the noRoam app and website according to these Terms. Don't copy, modify, reverse-engineer or create derivative works of our software or content. All trademarks, logos, and content are owned by noRoam or its licensors.
By installing via the Apple App Store or Google Play you also agree to their terms. The app licence is accepted at installation/first launch and forms part of these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Otherwise, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss (like lost profits or data). Subject to law, our total liability for all claims in any 1-month period is limited to the greater of £100 or the amounts you paid to noRoam for the affected Service in that period.
We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, government actions).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless noRoam from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from your unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent use of the Services.
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access where necessary (for example, if you breach these Terms, we detect fraud/abuse, or to protect the network and other users). If we terminate for our convenience, we'll refund any unused paid period; if termination results from your breach, refunds aren't due for periods already used.
We reserve the right to suspend due to government orders, regulatory changes, or SIM fraud.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you're a UK consumer, you can bring disputes in your local courts. If you use the Services for business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU, you retain your consumer rights under your local law. If you're unhappy, please contact support first and we'll do our best to resolve things. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) options may be available to you.
